Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 2nd October I will be braving the 26.2 miles along the scenic (and probably wet and cold!) Lochness. I will be running for the charity Bliss, a charity which specialises in the care of the 1 in 9 babies born prematurely in the UK (1 in 7 In Scotland) by training doctors and nurses, campaigning for more doctors and nurses and improving facilities at intensive care baby units accross the UK.
As many of you will aware; 22 years ago one of these babies was me. Weighing in at just 2lbs, 10 weeks premature the odds were against me. It looked like it would be a miracle if I ever took my first steps, let alone run a marathon! Any amount you feel you could give would mean a tremendous amount to me. Please help to make more babies as fortunate as I have been.
Thank you!
