Story
Today I'm making a final request for your help, and it is for a cause that is close to my heart, St John's Hospice in St John's Wood. The hospice supports around 3,000 people every year facing their last days of a terminal illness. One of those people was my lovely dad, who I miss every day. My dad's illness was cruel, but the kindness and personal attention that they were able to give to him and our family made an unbearable situation just a little easier, and I can't overstate how important that was. They offer a range of services for people with complex and varied needs, and the services they offer are free - to find out a little more I'd recommend visiting their website
Now, with an overstretched NHS and a cut back social service, it seems to me that more and more weight will inevitably fall on the shoulders of
hospices. And it makes me incredibly sad to think that anyone would have to face a terminal illness without the specialist care that they offer.
So, if you're able, please give generously and help the hospice in the
incredibly meaningful work that they're doing - and you could be the final winner of an original work of art. If you're not able to give, you can still help through spreading the word to anyone you think may be interested. Thank you so much!
Here's how it works:
- For each £2 donated, you will be entered once into a draw to win an art work - so donate £10 and you'll get five entries.
- At the end of the month, I'll draw a name and get in touch with the winner to arrange delivery*.
- And on my part, I will ensure that the art work you win will be of greater value than the total value of the amount donated. So if we raise £500, the art work on offer will be of a value of over £500.
- When you are completing your donation, please make sure that you tick the box to share your contact details with me so that I can get in touch with you if you win!
