Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my JustGiving page,

In the Easter holidays I will be hitch-hiking from York University, to Morocco in order to raise money for the charity Link Community Development, (LCD).

LCD is an organisation dedicated to providing education to children in Africa in order to overcome poverty and deprivation. Their five main objectives are:

- To build local capacity to monitor and support schools.
- To encourage parental and community participation in schools.
- To imporve schools' ability to promote children's health and wellbeing.
- To use lessons leanred to inform policy and practise both nationally and internatioanlly.
- To build understanding and support for development through education

I 'm really excited by the prospect of raising money for this worthwhile charity and any donation, large or small, is hugely appreciated. All of the money you give will go staight to the charity and help imporve education in Africa. Donating through JustGiving is easy, efficient and totally secure.
