Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

With someone close to me having been diagnosed for the second time with Breast Cancer in less then 5 years, there is a huge frustration of being unable to do anything to help.

This is where the Great North Run comes into it.

Nearly 46,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK.

1 in 9 women in the UK will develop breast cancer at some point in their lifetime.

Around 1,000 women die of breast cancer every month in the UK.

Around 300 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please please please dig deep and donate NOW.

50p to £50 - every little bit counts!!
