Story

Dear Friends and Family

Help me support a group of inspiring adolescents living with HIV in South Africa that I have been working with over the past 5 years.

These adolescents are part of the Khuluma Mentor programme , run by the SHM Foundation helping to provide them with the social support that they need. The programme provides them with information and knowledge about HIV; it also teaches them how to facilitate digital support groups so we can expand and provide support for many more HIV positive adolescents in South Africa. In addition we provide the mentors with peer-to-peer support and opportunities to be involved in a variety of research and art projects so that their voices and stories are heard both locally and internationally. The stigma and discrimination that many of these adolescents have to face every day has to change and we believe that our mentor programme is making a positive difference in this area.

Any support you could give would be much appreciated to support these amazing adolescents!
