Story
On the 15th April 2016 Mark Pollard passed away after battling melanoma for many years.
On the 25th of June Kieran "scruffy-looking nerfherder" Wade and John "walking carpet" Andrews from The York dungeon will be descending 400 metres down the Humber Bridge in the 2016 Humber soap box derby. They'll be doing this to raise money for the St James Hospital Melanoma ward ; the folks who took such good care of our dear, dear friend Mark. Over the following weeks, we'll be building a Star Wars themed soap box racer to attempt the run in twelve or less parsecs.
We hope to raise as much as possible in Mark's name and invite you to donate generously to help with our cause, we fully appreciate your support and aim to make this a special day in Mark's memory.
Many Thanks,
Anna, Kieran, Stu and John.
