Story
Hey guys!
Im running the Great North Run in september for Leonard Cheshire Disability and need to raise £350.00 by taking part in this 13 mile run =O Now for those of you that know me well, me being the typical lazy student this seems like a daunting task for the girl who thinks that walking the less than one mile to Sainsburys is bare effort and my exercise for a month! (I'm not even joking :S). But as the saying goes, " It's all for a good cause" and it certainly is! Leonard Cheshire Disability strives to improve the lives of those people which have a disability and change attitudes towards people with disabilities. The way in which the funds recieved will be used by leonard cheshire disability involve the improvement of: Care homes, the support disabled people and the families recieve , day services, resource centres, rehabilitation, respite care, and training and assistance in education and employment. So basically a brilliant cause! and well worth running 13 miles for and all the effort ! :D So come on people, anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated and mean so much! I will keep my progress updated on here...which so far is that i can run 4 miles…only 9 miles to go : / I now can run 5 miles woo ! ... and now 6 :D I hope to increase my runs by a mile each week. THANK YOU for any donations and all your support! Anna :) xxxThanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
