We (5 ladies - 3 sisters & their daughters) are running 5km, hoping to raise £500 for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation as well as collecting on the day of the run (if we survive) for MNDA (NI).

The My Name’5 Doddie Foundation was founded by the great Doddie Weir, who recently lost his very brave fight to MND - The Foundation has raised incredible awareness and funds for people living with MND as well as pushing one step closer to a world free of MND.

Having been exposed to more of this disease than anyone would choose to be, it is a foundation very close to our hearts.

The MND Association’s Virtual Santa Run #Festive4MND sparked interest for us for a few reasons:

• None of us can run. We love food & wine. So, we thought this would be a great challenge.
• We enjoy a laugh, so will have plenty of that running round our own town on a very busy Christmas Eve in SANTA SUITS.
• It’s the least we could do to contribute to the fight against this awful disease.
