Story
Sophie and Ritchie used to be my next door neighbors and by chance they had a little baby boy around the same time as me in 2017. George has turned out to be the bravest person I know (his mummy and daddy close joint second)!
George was born in September 2017 at Royal Derby Hospital with many complex medical needs, he was transferred to the Queens Medical Centre at just a few hours old, where the amazing team worked tirelessly to save his life. Over the last 12 months, George has undergone numerous operations and been through so many medical procedures as he fought for his life - he truly is Super George.

Sophie and Ritchie are trying to say THANK YOU to Nottingham University hospitals by raising £25,000. The money will fund a parent's education & training room, a warm, comfortable and welcoming room for parent's of babies with a variety of complex issues to learn how to care for their baby. George is known to friends and family as Super George, and the room is to be named after him. It will be a lasting legacy at the hospital.
So there we have it folks...an amazing family, raising funds for an amazing cause. I want to try to help and do our bit and will be doing an organised baby swing-athon. Basically, my daughter (and whoever wants to join) in will be racking up as many minutes as possible at the park on the swings during the month of December. It would be great if you could give generously and sponsor our babies to do this!
THANK YOU All FOR YOUR GENEROSITY AND SUPPORT
