Not completely sure what happened ...... but I am taking part in the London marathon on the 22nd April and I would really appreciate your support!  I have never done this before and have a long way to go to be ready.  Needless to say, the training in cold, wet weather has begun.  My trainers are covered in mud and my feet are killing me!

To give me the motivation to carry on, especially on the big day itself, I am raising money for Leonard Cheshire Homes for the Disabled and, in particular, for the wonderful Leonard Cheshire Home at Chipstead Lake in Sevenoaks.

Leonard Cheshire Disability work tirelessly every day to give their disabled residents a quality of life we all take for granted.  For example, residents in Chipstead are supported to go shopping in our local Tesco or have a drink in the local pub, just 100 metres away.  Simple things that make a huge difference to everyone but especially those living  with a serious and permanent disability.

I am hoping by running the London marathon to make a small difference by raising £2,000 for them.  Please help me!
