On the 13th October I will be running the London Royal Parks Half Marathon in memory of my dear mum, Jenny Robertson, who suffered with osteoarthritis for over 20 years. It affected many of her joints including her spine, shoulders, hands and ankles. Although in daily pain she remained positive and cheerful. By the end of her life it became disabling for her. 

I feel research into arthritis is so important and often over looked. Versus Arthritis invests in breakthrough treatments, the best information and vital support for everyone affected by arthritis.
