Story
I was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer aged 40 in December 2018. It was also an illness faced by an extended family member who was diagnosed aged 38. Our families would like to take this opportunity to raise awareness of the disease, highlighting the fact that you are never too young to be diagnosed with bowel cancer and early detection can save your life.
We aim to raise awareness of bowel cancer symptoms and to remind people that knowing the signs can make all the difference to your diagnosis.
Every day in June we will all @stepupfor30 and do at least 30 min of exercise for 30 days. It's not too hard a task, but our main aim is to raise awareness that you're #nevertooyoung.
