Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Nineteen years ago, I was told I would probably never be able to walk properly again following a bad knee injury. I had to give up the high impact sports I loved such as squash and water-skiing.
However, that wasn't going to stop me having adventures and challenging myself. Despite the prognosis, I CAN and DO walk (not run!) and whilst not the fittest of people, decided to take on this year's Thames Bridge Trek - 25km from West to East over some of the capital's finest bridges.
I'll be fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Care in memory of my grandmother, Maisie Apostolos, who died in 2009. Even though it is a while ago, we all still miss her in her lives - and many of you will remember in particular her sense of fun and laughter.
Macmillan have also supported many other relatives and friends through cancer and I do hope you will sponsor me to help them to continue to support those with cancer and their families.
I won't be walking alone! We've put together a team - The Pint-Sized Perennials. More details on who and their causes soon! Watch this page and Social Media for updates!
Many many thanks for all your support. I'd better start getting in some serious training!
