UPDATE 24/09: THANKS FOR ALL THE DONATIONS SO FAR!!
Due to Tor being an old man and having issues with his knee, we, unfortunately, had to postpone the full marathon for a couple of months to run the Gloucester Marathon on 20th January 2019 (does anyone have any woollen jumpers we can run in?).
We´re still going to Windsor on 7th October to run a half marathon (practice makes perfect right?), so feel free to help us out with any donations (small or Norwegian oil fund sized) in the meanwhile! Post finish pictures will be provided for both events.

It's been a while in the making, but we've decided to attempt a marathon. All 26 miles. This October 7th, we will take part in the Windsor River Trail Run; we can't guarantee how (or when) we'll cross the finish line, but we will finish it.
We're hoping to raise awareness and funds for a fantastic charity, which has a great impact on our local community and more generally in London. St Mungos provide a bed and support to more than 2,700 people in accommodation that they own, run or manage. This is a vital service, as it not only helps people sleep in a safe location, but can start a conversation that could potentially turn their situation around.
As the figures continue to rise, St Mungos' work is more important than ever. According to 'Streets of London,' in 2016-17 there were more than 8,000 people sleeping rough on the city's streets, a figure which has trebled since 2010. Sleeping on the streets also has a drastic impact on a persons health and mental wellbeing; a homeless rough sleeper is 35 times more likely to commit suicide than the average person.
We'd like to help St Mungos continue their fantastic services and work towards lowering these numbers. If you're able to help in any way, whether its 50p or a fiver, we would really appreciate it. Photographic evidence of our attempt will be provided as proof and for your entertainment.
