I have nystagmus in both eyes. I had 2 operations when I was an infant and didn't walk until I was two years old.

 I always struggled to see the board at school and reading because I'd miss my place in the text. I struggled with maths because I couldnt see well enough to plot graphs or co ordinates. I couldn't play games that involved co ordination or judging distances, speed or depth.

Nystagmus hasn't stopped me though. Others are affected by it to a far greater degree however and it can be acquired for various reasons.

I found that I'm ok at running. I just take my time and stick to even surfaces! 

I love the work this charity does and want to raise as much as I can to help them continue their good work.
