Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I am fundraising for Bristol Volunteers for Development Abroad, BVDA. They are a student led charity, registered number 1093476, which was started as a society within the University of Bristol 8 years ago, to encourage students to make a difference in developing countries by volunteering overseas.
In summer 2009, I will be participating in a project run by BVDA in Nepal. The project will be based in the village of Ilam, and we will be building class rooms for the local community. We also will be teaching in the village while we are out there. In order for this to happen, I need to raise £650 for the project, none of the money raised goes to my personal costs. If you could help in any way, it will be greatly appreciated!
On Sunday May 10th, me and my lovely housemate Nikki Tribley will be running the Bristol 10k at the harbourside, if you could sponsor us, it would really help us and give us motivation to carry on! Come and support us if you can!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bristol Volunteers for Development Abroad gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me!
