Story
Ahem. I am squeezing myself into a stretchy tracksuit and climbing into my biggest pants for a 10K run along Brighton seafront in aid of Amaze. And to make it extra hard for myself, I'm doing no training because I'm far too busy. I might try and have a hangover on the race morning as well.
I'm hoping the thought of me shoehorned into a tight tracksuit and doing something I haven't done since Abba were in the charts will inspire you to sponsor me. But if that doesn't work, just think about the work Amaze does in Brighton and Hove - we aren't called Amaze for nothing!
9 November - Well, if it weren't for my lovely job and my marvellous work colleagues, I might be tempted to change career after today. I made three cakes to boost my fundraising and took them into Community Base. I was set upon by scores of sugar-hungry charity workers. £66. There is money in cakes my friends.
Anyhow, I'm now in sight of my target. So any stragglers, please donate now!
Training update - I went for a little run with the BLAGSS running group last Saturday. Oh dear. Me in my tragic trackie bottoms and raggy teeshirt and a dozen fit gay men in lycra. My quads were in spasm until Tuesday.
