❤️🌟❤️🌟Join us for the Walk of Light 2022 with Blood Cancer UK on Friday 25th March at 6pm at Anders Square, Perton, Wolverhampton, WV6 7QH. (Just by entrance to Sainburys)❤️🌟❤️🌟
My family has battled Blood Cancer more than once. My sister battled Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at 25 years old and my daughter Mia battled Infantile Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at the age of 7 months in 2017. These are two incredible girls who were healthy, fit and well, suddenly struck down by a blood cancer. I watched them fight so hard, their bodies shaken by the drugs and treatment 😔, but they got through it because of the continued scientific advancements within Blood Cancers. 🙏🏽
We shall be walking for all the children and loved ones who have been affected by blood cancer, for those who are still fighting their battle with blood cancer and remembering those who lost their battle 😔🪔. We shall be walking with HOPE, a hope of light for families like ours that they can also dream about a future. 🙏🏽🌟❤️
Last year over 40,000 people took part across the UK under covid restrictions and raised an incredible £461,000! We can do even better this year with your support. 🚶🏻♂️🚶🏼♂️🚶🏿♂️🚶🏾♂️🚶🏼♂️

If Perton is too far, you can do your own walk nearer to your home, please send us pics though so we can build our gallery of supporters! 😊
We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
