We did it!!
Four friends and I climbed three of the highest mountains in Wales within 16.5 hours!
We hiked a total of 20.35 miles (32.75km) over a total ascent of 9,397ft (2,864m)
Starting at 4.30am to climb Snowdon (1085m), the highest mountain in Wales, within 4h30min, we then drove 2h to Cadair Idris (893m) for another 4h hike. The last mountain was Pen-Y-Fan (886m) in the Brecon Beacons, which we completed at 8.55pm, after a 1h30min hike.
We are collecting donations for Tŷ Hafan, a charity that offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people, dedicated to improving the quality of life for the whole family.
Tŷ Hafan was established in 1999 and since then has helped over 400 families, who live the dreadful reality that their children with life-limiting conditions may not reach the age of 19.
