I am an adrenelin junky and spend my time doing crazy things for charity, but now things have had to slow down. (but not stop!!). Reasearch into this disease is the key to not only my life but thousands of others. My Friends have stepped in to help with fundraising and this page is where we can centrally upload any money raised

As a young child I was always a medical disaster area and its only got worse with age. Following a bite from a mozzie on holiday in China for my 40th, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2010. It was devastating, especially after loosing my mum to the same disease at a young age.

I had a double mastectomy, full course of Chemo and high dose radiotherapy. However,  I still had open questions and was sent for a genetics test which solved my medical riddles. In 2011 I was  diagnosed with Cowdens Syndrome. A rare disease that puts the body at high risk of cancer and other medical conditions, as the tumour surpressor gene doesnt work properly.

Shortly after my diagnosis my father was also diagnosed with kidney cancer, and we went through treatment together. Sadly my father lost his battle in may 2013. I was put under a raft of doctors and all was going fine. The in Jan this year I was given a diagnosis of secondary cancer in the bone.
