I am swimming the English Channel in July 2022 to raise funds for Aspire in memory of my Dad, Ray Whittle. Dad was my biggest swimming supporter and he was the one who originally encouraged me to learn to swim as a child. 

I am raising funds for Aspire in particular because I truly believe in the valuable, life changing work they do and the guidance and support they offer to people with spinal cord injuries. A personal friend has also benefitted directly from Aspire's help to get back to work and live independently after a spinal cord injury. 

I'll be taking on this huge swimming and fund raising challenge with five fabulous friends and I'll be thinking of Dad all along the way.
