Hi Guys,  

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.   

In October this year I will be volunteering  on a development programme in Tanzania, for a period just over 3 months. This is part of International Citizen Service (ICS), which brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most.  I’ll be working alongside volunteers from England and Tanzania, on a project that addresses key development issues such as water and sanitation as well as natural resource management. 

In Tanzania we will be organizing community days to raise awareness of disease prevention, healthy eating or climate change;  

Building toilets: installing clean water systems or eco-ovens with help from local experts;  

Providing training for local people to encourage the continuation of the projects and the use and maintenance of infrastructure. 

However, I cannot do this without your help! I need to raise £800 for Raleigh International who are one of the respected development charities that deliver ICS. This will allow them to continue to bring about positive change in the developing communities where they work.
