Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in memory of Sylvia Stenhouse, who died last year, aged just 21, of Sudden Death In Epilepsy.
To honour this brave, talented, beautiful girl, the ladies in Sylvia's family have set themselves a few challenges to raise funds for Epilepsy Scotland.
On May 13, Sylvia's mum Lilias, aunts Anita and Alison and cousin Liseli will run the Women's 10k in Glasgow.
As they are crossing the starting line in Bellahouston, Sylvia's scuba-diver sister Kirsty will be jumping into the Red Sea to do a marathon dive across Na'ama Bay. With a team of friends and colleagues, Kirsty will complete the two-hour challenge using super-sized air tanks kindly sponsored by Werner Lau Tek. Other equipment has been sponsored by Tekstreme. Watch here for photos from the dive.
Meanwhile, back in Scotland, Sylvia's wee cousin Emily will get on her bike and cycle 10k around Dundee. Gran Irene is doing her bit too. As well as getting her pinny on and cooking up the post-race burgers, she will clock up 10k at walking pace in the week before the race.
So it's a big family effort and we would like your support to raise funds for Epilepsy Scotland in memory of Sylvia.
Many thanks for your kindness and support. xx
