Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm not going to lie...I've never been a natural runner and I doubt I ever will be! I'm a bodybuilder so long distance running is tough for me given my build! The Brentwood Half Marathon on the 20th March 2011 however is something I felt compelled to do. Here's why.
I'm a dedicated Personal Trainer In Brentwood Essex and some of my clients have had family and friends looked after by St. Francis Hospice and for me, I wanted to recognise the efforts of the people at Saint Francis Hospice for the incredible work they have done and continue to do and support my clients that have lost someone they really loved. For them, the challenge was to carry on living after losing someone so dear...that to me must be one of life's biggest challenges.
But, I like a challenge too and being a personal trainer with a hell of a big heart, I want to do something my body is not naturally used to doing and is not naturally built to do to show my respect to those who have a far bigger challenge on their hands than I do.
So, help me to support them and give back as you never know if you too may need the services of Saint Francis Hospice. And if you don't? You may just know someone who will. Thanks for your support.
