Story
Thanks for visiting my Race for Life page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online - it's quick, easy and totally secure. No matter how small or big the donation they will all be appreciated equally, and all donations are bringing us one step closer to beating Cancer.
We will be running the Race for Life 10k run in Coventry and Warwickshire united as a family on behalf of Tara. She was such an amazing, inspiring and talented individual who will never be forgotten and will ALWAYS live in our hearts.
My mum was taken from us very suddenly over a 2 week period. There are still uncertainties in her illness today. We were never given the opportunity to fight the cancer as we did not even get to the full diagnosis stage.
No single day will be the same for me.
We will also be running in memory of our grandad who was taken from us again unfairly after undergoing an operation to remove a tumour. We watched him for 5 weeks try and regain his strength until one day I was faced with the statement of being told there is nothing we can do. 24 hours later he passed away.
2014 was one of the most torturous years we have been through but I would like to think it will be the year which made us stronger.
