For the month of January, I will be giving up the consumption of all alcohol, animal based food and products, and foods containing added sugar, in order to raise money for Mind in Coventry and Warwickshire. 

Mental Health Awareness is such an important issue, and the exposure Mind has provided to changing the views around Mental Health has been vast. In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week and every 2 hours someone tries to take their own life. Mind campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. Raising money for mind will help allow those experiencing a mental health problem to get the support and respect they deserve. The University of Warwick Men's Hockey Club have proudly supported Mind this year and I will be fundraising on behalf of them.
