Story

MWMT's story:

My brother Max sadly passed away in January 2021, at the age of just 16 after suffering with his mental health. My family and I have set up the MWMT to support charities which focus on improving mental health including depression, anxiety and suicide prevention. The team of runners is made up of my friends who knew Max well and the impact of his death has affected us all. We are all Bath University final year students and many of us are not runners but have committed to choose this challenge in memory of Max and with a desire to help others who are suffering as Max did.Max was an incredible sportsman, with recent acknowledgement in the BBC SPOTY 2021. I am sure Max will be looking down on us and supporting us through this challenging event. Any donations would be hugely appreciated. With love and thanksKate
