In September last year a good friend lost her battle with Cancer. Heather was a very special person, who always thought of others and remained positive in life whatever it threw at her. Family was without a doubt the most important thing in her life, so it seem's appropriate to raise money for a charity which supports cancer sufferers  and their families. In her memory, I am cycling with my friend John from Lands End to John o' Groats.  We will be setting off on Saturday 17th May with 2 fully loaded bikes, a tent and a map and intend to cover over 1000 miles in 12 days.  To add to the challenge we will be camping all the way !!!

All the money raised will go to the Maggie's Centres Charity which provide respite care for those affected by Cancer through its nationwide network of centres.
