We provide wigs to children with cancer to restore their confidence and identity.

Story

I have been growing my hair long for quite a while. During that time I have become aware of Little Princess Trust and what they do. They make real hair wigs for children undergoing chemotherapy, or who have lost their hair due to alopecia. For a child, looking good is so important to their self-esteem, so important for how confident they feel in school, in living their everyday life. Looks and comments can be devastating to a child who is already feeling vulnerable. So, I am cutting my hair so that a child who needs it more than me, can have a wig.

Here's the deal: Little Princess Trust need  £350 to make a wig and a minimum of 8 inches of hair. For every £100 over that, I will cut 1 inch longer. I have a potential 16 inches of hair they can use to make a long wig. How short do you want me to go? But I am banned from shaving it all off!

Hair appointment booked for November 2nd.
