AngryBritain at Christmas

AngryBritain at Christmas · 24 December 2017
Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age, or maybe I've just grown up, but I've come to realise that I'm very lucky to have the life I have, surrounded by family and friends to share Christmas with, and a warm home to do it in.
Others won't be so lucky, and it will be a very different story this week. Homelessness is getting worse in Britain, not better, and the frightening thing is it could literally be any one of us sleeping on the streets this winter if our luck ran out.
Help me raise £100 over the Christmas period to help those who won't be waking up in a warm bed on Christmas Day and let's all do out little bit for someone else this Christmas.
Just a £1 will help. And just imagine the difference we'd make to Shelter if all 36,400 of you donated just that £1 over the Christmas period.
I'll start us off, and let's see what happens.
Thank you and I wish you all the most fantastic Christmas and wonderful New Year.
