Story

In  October 2013 Phil Jones passed away at a young age at Ty Olwen Hospice . He was a good friend to many and a special friend to those who knew him well . For myself over a ten year period he was variously buddy,  drinking pal, housemate, boyfriend, fiance and duelling partner .

Once you met him, you'd not forget him again and so in that spirit it seemed only appropriate  , given his penchant for the cultivation of handlebar moustaches & other creative facial hair growth , that I run the Manchester MoRun in his memory and raise money for the hospice that cared for him in his last weeks & days .

I have chosen to do this as I know he would appreciate the ridiculous image of me running 5k with a handlebar mustache ..and to show my love & support for the family & friends he has left behind .

I will be running the 5k Manchester MoRun on 9th November 2014 &  shall don the most ridiculous false moustache money can acquire for the day .

All sponsorship will go to Ty Olwen Hospice  who cared well for Phil before his death so that they in turn can help other families in future . Please dig deep folks X
