Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running in this year's London Bupa 10,000 run for Parkinsons Disease Society.

My uncle was diagnosed with the disease approximately 5 years ago. At the time of the diagnosis, my uncle was a successful general manager for a large UK organisation. He has recently retired.

This disease has had such a massive impact on his and his family's life and his ability to manage day to day has got more difficult as time has gone on.

I want to help. I want to do whatever I can for the research, prevention and cure of this nasty disease and I hope you'll donate what you can to help sufferers of this disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please, please dig deep and donate now.
