Story

Running doesn’t come naturally to me; but I’m giving this 5k a bash with a team of amazing mates and treasured family to raise money for the Dougie Mac.   Anyone who has ever known anyone be looked after by the team at the Dougie Mac will know the  amazing end of life care they provide.  We run in memory of Angela Caton and David Dawson in order to raise vital funds for this hospice- during a time when fundraising events and activities are limited.

Hospice story:

The hospice can't host our usual Dougie Mac 5K fundraising event, we are very excited to invite you to take part in our Dougie Mac 5K My Way. Kindly sponsored by World of Wedgwood, you can join in the fun by getting your trainers on and fundraising for Dougie Mac!Whether you want to run, jog or walk to raise money, this is your race, from your place, at your pace! With you help, we are hoping to raise as much money as possible so that we can make a huge difference to patients and their families at a time when they need us most.
