Story
This overnight challenge starts at 2am as myself, my 14 year old son Dexter and my fellow Fourtfronters gather at the foot of Snowdon ready to climb to the 1,085m summit in total darkness. Traversing the tricky terrain with just the light of a head torch, we will arrive at the summit just as the sunrises across the dramatic backdrop of Snowdonia National Park. Then there's the descent which will be a challenge in itself! This will personally be a mental and physical test, done to raise money for Shooting Star Children's Hospices. They support babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across London and Surrey. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, Shooting Stars are here to make every moment count. They support families from diagnoses to end of life and throughout bereavement.
