After being touched by the courage & determination of Nina Barough (founder of the Moonwalk) on Pride of Britain awards 2008, I decided 'I could do that'! Together with a group of great girls, I completed the 2009 Moonwalk. My body just didn't want to walk 26.2 miles through the night! After the tears of relief at the finishing line, I vowed I would never do it again as it was the hardest thing I had ever done in my life although all in a fantastic cause.

As I was in need of a new challenge and having 'found' the 2 stone I 'lost' in training for the Moonwalk last year, I wanted to continue to raise money for such a worthy cause. A bit like childbirth, I had forgotten the pain and with the help of a bottle of wine, I managed to persuade Jackie, my lovely darling dearest friend (and training partner from last year) to join me to do the Moonwalk 2010!

Our lousy winter weather hampered our training efforts in Jan & Feb, but with the help of our Trainer/International Athlete (not actually sure what help he has given us though), we now have our training underway in preparation for the big night on 15th May 2010 to raise stacks for Breast Cancer causes.
