Having stood on the sidelines doing the very important job of cheering Rainbow Centre runners on over the last couple of years, I've finally decided to give it a go myself.

As you know I'm a firm believer in Eyore's running tip of "don't" but I am braving the Bath & Bristol hills, the wind & the rain to train throughout the winter to do this. The course may be relatively flat but there are hills in every direction when I leave home or the office and this is the furthest distance I have ever run.

As you already know The Rainbow Centre is a great little charity helping children and families affected by bereavement, life threatening illness and cancer. We are the only organisation of our kind in Bristol & we depend entirely on voluntary donations for our existence. I can personally guarantee any money you sponsor me is greatly needed and will be used wisely.

I would love to raise a total of £630 as this would be the equivalent of a therapy session which costs the Centre £30 for each of The Rainbow Centre's 21 years of supporting children and families.
