Story
Hello
Thank you for taking an interest in my challenge and visiting my justgiving page.
I first came into contact with St Richard's Hospice 13 years ago when I worked there for a few months. I saw first hand the excellent work they do, not just in caring for their patients and supporting family members but in the training they offer providing the local community with an outstanding facility.
Started in Droitwich but now located in Worcester, St Richard's Hospice has hundreds of brilliant volunteers offering their services day in and day out but it is a charity and requires continuous donations in order to maintain their excellent service to the community. If you wish to find out more about what they do, please visit www.strichards.org.uk
I was inspired by what I had seen at St Richard's Hospice and within a year I had signed up for my 1st challenge - the Worcestershire Way Walk. Obviously I got hooked as this will be my 9th challenge and you can help to make it my best ever with your generous donations.
If you do not wish to give through the Justgiving website you can text SRAB54 to 70070 followed by £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to donate.
- £5 will pay for a delicious and nutritious lunch for a patient
- £12 will give a patient an hour of care and emotional support at home
- £20 will provide an hour's care in the in-patient unit
Thank you once again for your support, Angela
