I am running the Leeds Marathon to help do my bit, albeit a small bit but nevertheless an important bit for this amazing charity.

I have a work colleague whose husband has been living with this awful disease for 4 years now and I feel that I have to do something to help find a cure.

I also have a good friend whose mum lost her life to this unforgiving illness over 4 years ago too.

 I have walked the 15,000 steps a day in January and I have given up coffee for a month (which I still haven't had any since) and I raised money for those but now I need to do this Marathon to help raise awareness and help to find a cure once again. 

I am hoping that you lovely generous friends, family, work colleagues, customers will dig deep and donate to this fantastic charity.
