Fundraising for Child Rescue Nepal
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 1st September a team from Saltus will take on the Nuts Challenge in order to raise money for Child Rescue Nepal. I will be taking part in the main 7km and Ava will be doing the mini Nuts which is 2km, the first time she has done anything like this!
Child Rescue Nepal is one of the chosen charities at Saltus and does amazing work with the aim to end child slavery in Nepal. There are over 100,000 child slaves working in hazardous situations in Nepal, these children are extremely vulnerable and often suffer from physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Child Rescue Nepal keep these children safe after their rescue and aim to reunite them with their families.
Saltus last year raised enough money to fund one of their care homes in Kathmandu for 18 months. A team from Saltus travelled to Nepal and visited the children and saw first hand how the charity works - I am lucky enough this year to be travelling with colleagues to do the same.
