We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

In April 2015 we lost our mum and grandma to the terrible disease leukaemia. We want to walk in my mums honour to show our respect for my mums fight and her courage throughout her 8 year battle. We are also walking in memory of our friends dad who is in fact  buried along side my mum. I know Mark also battled courageously against the cruel disease. We are also walking in support of my friends niece who is currently battling leukaemia.

As a group we want to bring awareness and help to raise money for a much needed cause.

The walk of light is being held to signify that there is light there in the darkness that people face. We want to show that we care and we will never forget the battles people have faced and are still facing.

If you could sponsor us we would so grateful every donation how big or small will help to make a difference to someone’s life.

Thank you ❤️❤️❤️🌹

We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
