I have chosen to support Queenscourt Hospice by taking part in the 10K Star Trekk on the evening of Friday 6th of April. Not only is it local to me but over the years many people I know have experienced the amazing work they do in the hardest of times. My lovely friend sadly lost both her amazing parents in 2020. It was a very difficult time for her and her family but they were helped and supported by Queenscourt Hospice, who nursed and treated her parents throughout their illnesses and final days.

Only 20% of the money needed to run Queenscourt comes from the government and therefore the hospice really needs donations and people to fundraise for them so that they can carry on their work. For Queenscourt, the effects of Coronavirus have meant that they had to cancel many in-person fundraising events. 

Every single penny really does count, and by supporting Star Trekk, one of the key fundraising events, you will be helping Queenscourt to continue providing exceptional palliative care for local people across West Lancashire, Formby and Southport, when they need it most.

Star Trekk will be a challenge but along with my friends Lynn & Emma, we are determined to complete it together and have laughs and chat along the way!.

I know times are tough for so many but if you are able to donate however large or small, it really would help.
