There are 1.2 million stroke survivors living in the UK. I'm taking on the Stride for Stroke challenge and walking 1.2 million steps in 120 days, to raise funds and help provide support for those in need.

At the beginning of 2019 my mum suffered a life changing stroke. In the blink of an eye mum went from being physically fit and active to being rushed to surgery for a hemicraniectomy. Due to the amazing work of the neurosurgical team at The Royal London hospital my mum is still here with us 🥰 Now wheelchair bound we are navigating the new normal and the Stroke Association are a fantastic support for families. 

I want to give back and help raise awareness of a condition that has the ability to pull the rug out from underneath you no matter your age, gender or ethnicity. Please dig deep and help make a difference to someones life when they need it the most.
