I lost my dad in 2021 who suffered with Alzheimer’s and now my mum has the same cruel disease and is being cared for in a nursing home.  This brain disorder slowly destroys the memory and thinking skills and eventually the ability to carry out simple tasks.   It’s very hard to watch loved ones deteriorate before your very eyes.  Sometimes they know who you are and sometimes they don’t.  They are still the person we all know and love despite their changed personality.   Please give whatever you can to the ongoing research into finding a cure.  Thank you
