Fundraising for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity
Florence Nightingale hospice in Aylesbury gave us amazing
support in 2017 when my mother-in-law was in need of end of life care. we were fortunate to be offered a bed at the FN hospice for her to be looked after for the last 2 weeks of her life after battling cancer for a number of years. The staff were amazing we could visit anytime we liked and when we were not able to be there we know the nurses were always there for her, the hospice has a feeling of peace and quiet and has a lovely garden so sit in or just to look at from the rooms.
As a family we try to continue to raise some money each year
in memory of Margaret. This Saturday 18th July, Myself, Sarah Harris, Maisie and Jessica will be taking part in the Florence Nightingale Hospice - Not the midnight walk. On Saturday we will be starting our walk at 5am to walk to one of the next villages, stopping
for breakfast at their new refurbished playground and walk back. It is only 5 miles it should take us about 2 hours, but with 2 little ones it might take a little longer. If you can support us in any way all donations will be going to a wonderful charity.
