Thank you so much for all your generous donations, £493 raised on my FB fundraiser too! I'm closing this page now.
Lovely to meet James and Liv at the Masquerade Ball, what a fab night we had and thank you both for the donation, very touched by it xx
Millie is my 6 years old granddaughter and has been diagnosed with clear cell sarcoma in her right kidney, this tumour has grown very large and has spread across her abdomen and to her bones. She’s undergoing chemotherapy, Mille underwent 8 hours of surgery in June to remove the kidney tumour and 77% of her lymph nodes in her abdomen, and has had targeted radiotherapy plus lots of chemotherapy. She’s incredible and takes everything in her stride, so proud of her!
Every 10 minutes another child, teenager or adult is diagnosed with this brutal disease. All funds raised by our supporters will be put to use in all four areas of our work, not least to help to fund pioneering research to find a cure for this rare but brutal disease.
We are investigating new treatments and 100% of our research is dedicated to primary bone cancer. You can help ensure everyone gets the support they need by taking on our swim the distance challenge in May. I will be very happy if I swim 10 or 15k
Well I have done it - Completed 15K in May 🙌
BUT it doesn’t stop there!!!!!! 😱
I’m carrying on for the rest of May and hope to reach 30K in May 🏊♀️🤪
#TeamBones will happily receive further donations for those that would like to sponsor me to raise more for Bone Cancer Research Trust Swim the Distance in May for Bone Cancer Patients
