Hi, as you know from my text, I am doing a 13 mile sponsored walk for Cancer Research for my darling niece Helen who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2020, as was Ann a friend and colleague, my dear friend Eileen who was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in the same year as was her partner Ray who was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the same time and my friend Dawn's husband Chris who was diagnosed with Leukaemia about the same time and my dearest andoldest friend Judy who has fought breast cancer twice. All are still here, thank the Lord due to ongoing research and the great treatment they have received, these people are my family and friends, so its personal, but there are many people out there who need our help - they say one in two people are now diagnosed with one type of Cancer or another - so please give generously so I may 'go forth on wing-ed feet' and complete my half marathon.
