Angela's Firewalk page

As many of you know, I lost my husband, Chris earlier this year to his long battle with Melanoma. In the last year of his life, Marie Curie were a fantastic support to both of us. I have been interested in doing a firewalk for a while given the journey I, myself have been on over the last year and couldn’t think of a better reason for participating. I would be very grateful for any donations you are able to offer to support this fabulous organisation. Please read about them below:-
We've been giving care and support to people in Glasgow and the surrounding area since 1954. We're here to help all our patients have a good quality of life, for as long as possible whether that's being able to pursue a favourite hobby, spend precious time with friends and family or something as simple as being able to walk to the corner shop to buy a paper. We also make sure people are comfortable in their final days, whether those days are spent in the hospice or in their own home.We need to raise £6,735 per day to run the hospice, so every penny counts. Thank you for helping to make sure more people with a terminal illness in Glasgow, get the care and support they need. The nurses and doctors were so compassionate, answering any questions and concerns we had. We will never forget the care, dignity and respect shown to Matt and ourselves.-Senga, whose husband Matt was cared for at the hospice
