After a crazy year which included a deferred half marathon, I wasn’t sure if I would be going ahead with this at all. But I’m pleased (and a bit scared!) to say.... the race is on. I’m challenging myself to do the GREAT NORTH RUN. It’s been nearly 27 yrs since we lost our gorgeous Mum Margaret and before I get too old, I’ve always said I should do the GNR. So here I am doing it and raising money for a wonderful charity which was close to our family’s hearts, St Oswalds Hospice. They gave so much support to me and my family during a very difficult time. Now I want to give something back to them so they can support other families like mine. So please donate to this great cause and help me to do that!
