Story
Catherine (Rena) was a Dear and Loving Wife, Mum, Sister in Law and Friend who tragically was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Dementia at 75.
At 81 her condition deteriorated rapidly whilst staying at Charnwood House Care Home Coventry during this awful pandemic. She received great care, however, the absence of familiar friends and family escalated her condition at an extreme rate and whilst reaching ‘end of life’ stage only then could immediate family visit. Sadly, she peacefully slipped away 7 days later on 9 November at the age of 82.
We can’t give her the send off she so deserves at this time and the family feel passionate about supporting the Alzheimer’s Research UK charity to help find a cure for this debilitating disease.
Please help us to raise funds in Rena’s and others’ memory who have suffered badly from this disease.
A big thank you.
