Story
Sister Sophia and her team are going out to Kenya in November. Unfortunately I was unable to join them this time! They will personally be distributing food packs and sanitary packs in the poorer areas of Mombasa and River Tana. Let's work together so we can ensure that their trip is fruitful and they are able to help more individual and not have to turn anyone away! Thank you very much in advance ❤️
65% of Women And Girls in Africa are unable to afford basic sanitary products and 10% of girls miss school because they do not have access to menstrual products. This is the sad reality.Access to menstrual products is essential for anyone who menstruates. So is the right to manage our periods without the stigma. Around the world, millions cant afford or dont have access to the safe menstrual products they need. A lack of access to menstrual products means some people are forced to manage their periods in dangerous and unsanitary ways. Its not only the potential health risk, it also means girls education, well-being, and sometimes their entire lives are affected.Mission Relief will be providing hamper packs to young girls and women which contain menstrual products, soap and clean underwear so that they can maintain their periods safely and with dignity.
